Hi, I'm the Freeze-Drying Master
Well, that's what my family calls me now — but I certainly didn't start that way. When I got my first freeze dryer, I made every mistake you can imagine. Mushy zucchini, strawberries that never dried, meat that came out like leather. I almost gave up.
But I'm stubborn. I kept experimenting, taking notes, and slowly figuring out what actually works. After hundreds of batches and countless hours of research, I finally cracked the code. Now I can freeze-dry almost anything perfectly, and I want to share everything I've learned with you.
Why This Site Exists
I created this website and wrote the Freeze-Drying Master's Cookbook because I wished these resources existed when I started. The information out there is scattered, often contradictory, and sometimes just plain wrong.
My mission is simple: give you clear, tested, reliable information so you can skip the frustrating trial-and-error phase and start getting great results right away.
